Hello! I am EJ Enigma and I am a solo artist who likes to dabble with keyboards and Produce on my PC. The first thing I will say is that my own material is copyrighted and I compose my own material and have done for the last 11 years. I compose styles from Trance, Ambient and sometimes some Rock tunes as well. I try and vary my material so I can show what I am capable of. At the present time though I have been sticking mainly to Dance/Trance and Ambient/Chillout styles. I hope to work and improve with other styles soon.

Starting to make music and taking it seriously at 15 was when I was still at school and everything changed for me. During early 1997 I sat down and set myself the task of learning the keyboard. I recorded a few tracks and my then music teacher heard them. He then offered for me to take music as an extra subject after school. I originally took art as I was better at it at the time. I accepted and every Monday night for the next two years I attended the extra lessons. I went on to produce 3 compositions all of which received grade A. Overall my GCSE was a grade C.

I originally started learning guitar and still play occasionally and had lessons back in school for 5 years. The strange thing is I am self taught on the keyboards and play better on them then I do a guitar. I also used to be part of the school ‘Guitar Orchestra’ and we performed at school concerts when they were held. I was also part of the choir in the last 2 years of my school life.

I would like to thank my music teachers even though I can’t name them on here. It is due to them that I have achieved what I have to this day. They have been a great inspiration to me.

Since then I took part in an event in 1999 entitled ‘Rock School’ ran by Bandwagon. I was part of a group as keyboards player and we cut a CD. There were 3 bands and we all performed our pieces live. It was such a good night. I still run into the other band members from time to time although not very often. It’s a shame we didn’t stay together as a band.

It took me 10 years to choose a name for myself. But can I please make it clear that I am not ‘Enigma’. I am ‘EJ Enigma. ‘EJ’ stands for ‘Electro Jockey’.

I released my debut album 'In The Beginning...' in 2007 which has 12 tracks on it, mostly dance and trance styles. My latest album 'Dreamland (The Second Saga)' was released last year in 2008 and is currently being distributed throughout the same online sores.
